Our Story. From Saint Augustine To Ethiopia.
Adoption has always been a dream for both of us. With so many little ones out there in need of love, we hope to make a difference in the life of a child through adoption. After multiple miscarriages, months of infertility, soul-searching and a ton of research, we chose international adoption to build our family. We decided on Ethiopia for the simple reason that there is so much need in that country due to poverty and illness. Orphanages there are filled with thousands of babies and children in desperate need of love and protection. We also fell in love with the culture of this amazing country.
We hope to be on the wait list to be matched with a child by Thanksgiving. Our estimated wait time to be referred a baby will be 3-6 months, and we hope to have our little one home by Spring 2010!
